Health project
Bahouan 2024
In late November 2024, Casa Life e.V. led a community health mission in Bahouan, Cameroon, mobilizing medical staff and volunteers.

Project overview
Casa Life e.V. organized a health project in Cameroon in 2024, following the model used in Bachingou in 2020. The initiative took place at the end of November in Bahouan.
Between 10 and 20 participants joined the mission, including doctors, nurses, and volunteers, to deliver care and support the local community.
Training and skills transfer
Together with partners on site, the team delivered focused trainings for health professionals and students.
Sessions covered electrocardiography (ECG), ultrasound-based diagnosis, and emergency response, strengthening practical skills with tools adapted to local realities.
Specialist consultations
The intermittent medical care offered during the event covered multiple specialties, including diabetology, cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, and minor surgery.
These consultations expanded access to specialized care and helped reinforce local capacity through shared expertise.
Looking ahead
Casa Life aims to combine targeted medical trainings with direct on-site support and cultural discovery activities.
Delivering these ambitions requires sustained organizational, logistical, and financial support to ensure durable impact.
